Full-Time Art & Design Technology Technician - Secondary School - Wirral
Are you creative, practical, and passionate about supporting young people in a hands-on learning environment?
We’re looking for a full-time Art & DT Technician to join a welcoming secondary school on the Wirral, playing a vital role in supporting engaging, safe, and inspiring Art and Design Technology lessons.
What you’ll be doing:
* Preparing materials, tools, equipment, and resources for Art and DT lessons

* Supporting teachers during practical sessions to ensure lessons run smoothly

* Maintaining clean, safe, and well-organised Art and DT workspaces

* Ensuring health & safety procedures are followed at all times, including safe use of tools and materials

* Supporting students during practical work and encouraging creativity, confidence, and independence

* Managing stock, ordering supplies, and maintaining equipment where required

What we’re looking for:
* Someone available to work full-time, Monday to Friday during term time

* Experience in an Art, DT, workshop, school, or practical setting (desirable but not essential)

* A good understanding of health & safety in practical environments

* Confidence working with secondary-aged pupils (11-16)

* A reliable, organised, and proactive team player with a positive attitude
