Location: Leicester
Salary: £26,000–£28,500 per annum
Hours: Full-time
We’re looking for a proactive and driven Business Development Coordinator to join our Leicester-based team. This is an exciting internal role where you’ll take full ownership of sales activity, customer engagement, and new business development. Key Responsibilities
*Handle inbound enquiries over the phone in a professional, customer-focused manner.
*Identify, research and develop new business opportunities from both dormant and prospective accounts.
*Deliver exceptional customer service, consistently exceeding expectations.
*Create, manage, and close quotations accurately, ensuring all details are recorded correctly.
*Issue same-day quotes to customers and provide updates on any delays.
*Produce all quote documentation as directed by the Branch Manager.
*Follow sales strategies set by the Sales Director.
*Conduct outbound calls to chase quotes, purchase orders, and ongoing enquiries.
*Prioritise all sales-related tasks to maximise efficiency and outcomes.
*Liaise daily with Area Sales Managers regarding sales documents, lead generation, and support needs.
*Maintain accurate system updates, including notes, files, job cards, and photos.
*Support general sales administration as required.
Skills & Experience Required
*Proven track record in sales.
*Excellent customer service skills with a professional phone manner.
*Strong communication skills—clear, concise, and confident.
*Highly customer-focused and able to build lasting relationships.
*Capable of working independently as well as within a team.
*Strong organisational skills with a commitment to accuracy.
*Starting salary of £26,000–£28,500
