Bookkeeping Assistant – Part-Time, Wetherby, £16-18ph

We are currently working with a well-established Wetherby based company who are looking for an experienced part time Bookkeeper to join their friendly office team.
This is a varied position involving standard bookkeeping duties, Sage 50 processing, and general office support. You’ll work closely with the leadership team and play a key part in keeping financial records accurate and up to date.
What you’ll be doing:
*Managing Sales Ledger, Purchase Ledger & Cashbook
*Processing invoices (mainly electronic)
*Double-entry bookkeeping
*Inputting into the nominal ledger including job codes
*Handling multiple VAT rates
*Exporting PDFs to Excel and running system-generated reports
*Supporting CIS processing (training provided if needed)
*General admin duties, including answering calls
About You:
*Bookkeeping experience
*Working knowledge of Sage 50 advantageous
*Ability to deal with varying VAT rates
*Basic Excel skills
*High attention to detail
*Friendly and team-oriented
Nice to have (but not essential):
*CIS experience
*Background in construction or multi-job costing
