Prospero Teaching is working in partnership with a welcoming and well-established nursery in Yeovil, who are looking to appoint an experienced and passionate Pre-School Room Leader on a permanent basis.

Role Details *Position: Pre-School Room Leader
*Location: Yeovil
*Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00 - 17:00
*Pay:£12.96 per hour
*Contract: Permanent, full-time
Key Responsibilities *Lead and manage the day-to-day running of the Pre-School room
*Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate activities in line with the EYFS framework
*Support and mentor team members, promoting best practice at all times
*Monitor children’s development and maintain accurate observations and assessments
*Create a safe, stimulating and inclusive learning environment
*Build positive relationships with parents, carers and colleagues
*Ensure all safeguarding, health & safety and nursery policies are followed
The Ideal Candidate Will Have *A Level 3 Early Years qualification (or equivalent)
*Previous experience working within a Pre-School or early years setting
*Experience in a leadership or senior role (or be ready to step up)
*Strong knowledge of the EYFS
*Excellent communication and organisational skills
*A genuine passion for supporting children’s learning and development
*Enchanced Child Workforce DBS on the update service (or willing to apply for one)
