Job Description:
Aspire People are recruiting an experienced but unqualified Teaching Assistant to work across primary schools in the Salford area. This role is ideal for individuals who are passionate about education and looking to build a long-term career within a school setting.
While a formal Teaching Assistant qualification is not required, applicants must have relevant experience working with children or pupils within the last two years. This may include experience gained through youth work, school-based roles, childcare, coaching, or similar settings.
The Role
* Supporting pupils across different primary year groups
* Demonstrating confidence and knowledge of the primary curriculum
* Delivering 1:1 and small group support
* Supporting pupil behaviour and engagement
* Assisting teachers with classroom activities and learning tasks
Requirements
* Experience working in a UK primary school or
transferable experience (e.g. youth work, childcare, sports coaching) within the last two years
* Reliable, enthusiastic, and proactive approach
* A genuine interest in supporting children’s learning and development
