Private Client Solicitor (5PQE+)

Join a modern boutique law firm, as a Private Client Solicitor. We are seeking a bright and experienced professional to support the growth of our Private Client department and contribute to our strategic goals. This role is based in our supportive and inclusive Cumbria office, offering a dynamic and collaborative working environment.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Conduct Private Client matters on behalf of the firm’s clients.
*Achieve individual billing targets.
*Maintain orderly and up-to-date files, including electronic files, complying with the company’s file management policy.
*Complete time records and other management records as required.
*Cross-refer work and clients within the company.
*Ensure compliance with company policies, including Lexcel compliance.
*Manage financial control, including cash flow through efficient billing and payment procedures.
*Recognise and develop fee-earning opportunities.
*Produce fee income in line with targets and agreed objectives.
*Perform fee-earning work accurately and reliably in accordance with the firm’s quality and risk procedures.
*Keep informed of all changes in Law and Practice in your area of work.
*Build the business and participate in the Department’s marketing efforts.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*At least five years post-qualification experience (PQE).
*STEP accreditation (preferred).
*Comprehensive understanding of the legal market to support business development decisions.
*Strong work ethic and interpersonal skills to work collaboratively with our team in Cumbria.
*Strong leadership capabilities to supervise fee-earners within the team.
*Extensive experience within Private Client law and the ability to build your own workload independently.
