Description
As Finance Manager, you will take ownership of the finance function within this growing SME. This is a hands-on role and a real opportunity to influence and upskill a well-established team in order to improve financial performance and help shape the future direction of the business.
Key Responsibilities include:
*Full ownership of day-to-day financial operations, overseeing a team of 3 part-qualified Accountants
*Overseeing the preparation of monthly management accounts and being the first manager review on a monthly basis and then working with senior stakeholders to talk through performance commentary
*Act as a trusted business partner to senior stakeholders, providing insight to support commercial decisions
*Drive process improvements, systems enhancements, and financial controls as the business grows
*Liaise with external advisors including accountants, auditors, banks, and insurers
Profile
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) or qualified by sufficient experience
*Proven experience in a Finance Manager or senior finance role within an SME environment
*Comfortable operating both strategically and hands-on
*Strong commercial awareness with the ability to translate numbers into insight
*Proactive, adaptable, and confident working in a fast-paced, evolving business
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with non-finance stakeholders
Job Offer
*Competitive salary ranging from £55,000 to £60,000 per annum.
*Performance based bonus, annually
*Hybrid working (3 days in and 2 at home)
