Role: After Sales Engineer

Type: Permanent, Full Time

Salary: £34,000 - £36,000 dependant on experience (DOE)

Hours: Mon – Thurs: (7:30am – 16:00pm) Fri: (7:30am – 13:00pm)

Location: Worcester, West Midlands

Are you an experienced After Sales Engineer or in a Technical CAD role and wants to progress into sales? Then this opportunity cannot be missed! I’m currently recruiting for a leading Engineering company based in Worcester. My client is looking for a After Sales Engineer on a full time, permanent basis due to growth in the company.

After Sales Engineer – Key responsibilities:

*Act as an initial point of contact for customers, understanding their needs over the phone or in person
*Responding to customer enquiries on email or on the phone
*Develop bespoke layouts, pricing and quotations, ensuring all quotes are accurate and clear
*Provide technical product guidance and pre-sales support, maintaining a strong understanding of products.
*Coordinate orders from enquiry to completion, ensuring customers are contacted throughout.
*Support business growth by identifying new opportunities, maintaining accurate records of quotes/data and attending customer or site visits when required.


After Sales Engineer - Essential Skills & Experience:

*Strong attention to detail and work ethic
*Proficient in Microsoft office – Excel, Word and Powerpoint
*Ability to read technical drawings, ideally produced from AutoCAD
*Ability to use SAGE 200 or similar
*Excellent team player and problem solver
*Able to work well independently and as part of a team
