Production Operative (Mixed Duties)
Location: Peterborough
Shifts: Early Shift / Late Shift
Contract: Temp to Perm
Pay: Competitive and different rates depending on the shift - enhanced rate on back shift
My client, a busy and well-established production and fulfilment business based in Peterborough, is currently recruiting Production Operatives to join their growing team.
This is a varied, hands-on role where operatives work across multiple areas of the operation rather than being tied to one task.
The Role
Duties will include a mix of the following:
*Operating production and machinery (full training provided)
*Picking and packing orders accurately
*Dispatch duties, including palletising, labelling and preparing goods for distribution
*General warehouse duties such as stock movement and housekeeping
*Supporting the wider team to meet production and dispatch deadlines
Back shift roles are largely dispatch-focused, while early shift roles offer a broader mix of production, warehouse and machine operating duties.

The Ideal Candidate
*Experience within a production, warehouse, dispatch or manufacturing environment is preferred
*Comfortable working in a fast-paced setting with changing priorities
*Reliable, hands-on and flexible in approach
*Able to work well as part of a team and on their own
