Location: Sutton, Surrey (Office-based, with hybrid options after initial training)
Contract: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri)

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and technically competent Management Accountant to deliver accurate financial reporting and analysis that supports business performance, cost control, and operational insight. Acting as a crucial part of the finance function, you will work closely with commercial and operational teams to enhance financial processes in a dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare monthly management accounts with variance analysis and commentary.
* Monitor KPIs and provide financial insights to improve operational efficiency.
* Perform margin analysis and cost control reviews.
* Support VAT and government reporting.
* Track inventory valuation and working capital with commercial teams.
* Maintain financial controls and assist with audit processes.
* Provide financial insight to support strategic projects.
What We’re Looking For
* Qualified accountant with CIMA or ACCA (or equivalent).
* Line management experience desirable.
* Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP).
* ERP experience (e.g., JD Edwards) and BI tools (e.g., Tableau/Power BI).
* Financial reporting, control and analysis expertise.
* Excellent organisation, communication, and problem-solving ability.
* Adaptability and ability to work under pressure.
