The role of the Buyer – Roofing & Cladding Systems will involve:
*Buyer position dealing with a high quality range of roofing and cladding systems
*Supporting; planning, scheduling, procurement, and completion of projects
*Ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards
*Liaise with project managers and design teams to ensure smooth project execution
*Facilitate effective communication between project teams and stakeholders
*Place material orders in line with project requirements and delivery dates
*Organise plant hire, delivery, and collection, including crane lifts as required
*Working on projects ranging in value up to £7m
The ideal applicant will be a Buyer – Roofing & Cladding Systems with:
*Must have 2+ years Buyer experience within the construction / building industry OR have Sales experience within the roofing & cladding industry,
*Ideally familiar with roofing systems, cladding or facades
*High levels of organisation with the ability to manage diary
*Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
*IT literate (Microsoft Office)
*Logical thinker, strong numerical background, problem solver
*Ability to work autonomously
