Behaviour Mentor / Mental Health & Support Worker This role focuses on supporting pupils’ behaviour, wellbeing, and emotional regulation across primary phases in Bolton and Bury, working through Tradewind Recruitment.
Core responsibilities:
* Work 1:1 and in small groups to support behaviour regulation

* Develop and deliver social-emotional learning interventions

* Use restorative approaches to improve behaviour and relationships

* Liaise with staff and families to ensure consistent support

* Maintain records and contribute to pastoral meetings

* Support transitions and reduce barriers to learning

Ideal candidate:
* Experience or qualifications in behaviour support, mental health, youth work or similar

* Understanding of trauma-informed practice and child development

* Excellent communication and de-escalation skills

* Calm, reflective, and proactive approach

* Clear commitment to safeguarding and child welfare
