Job Description:

Our client (a Tier 1, well-respected, and market-leading aerospace organisation) is looking to recruit several Senior Stress Engineers on a contract basis to support a large programme of work.

Job Description
Perform stress analysis of composite and metallic aerospace structures
Produce stress reports and substantiation documentation to aerospace standards
Support design, development, and qualification of composite components and assemblies
Provide technical input to internal and customer design reviews
Utilise industry-standard FEA tools to support analysis activities

Essential Skills/Experience/Qualifications
Extensive experience as a Stress Engineer within the aerospace industry
Strong background in composite stress analysis and substantiation
Proficient with FEA tools such as NASTRAN / PATRAN, HyperWorks, or equivalent
Understanding of aerospace certification and stress methodologies
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to support complex engineering decisions
