Management Accountant
Location: Essex
Salary: £45,000
Reporting into the Financial Controller you will be a Management Accountant who is either qualified or part-qualified and actively studying. This is a hands-on role with strong exposure to month-end reporting, financial analysis and year end statutory reporting.
The role would suit someone looking to continue developing their technical and commercial skills within a supportive environment.
Your Role
*Preparation of monthly management accounts and reporting packs.
*Posting month-end journals including accruals, prepayments and fixed assets
*Balance sheet reconciliations and maintenance of strong controls
*Support preparation of statutory accounts and audit processes
*Variance analysis with clear commentary on performance
*Support budgeting and forecasting cycles
*Assist with cashflow forecasting
*Review revenue and cost allocations
*Support intercompany accounting and reconciliations
*Support continuous improvement of processes and reporting
About You
*Qualified or Part Qualified
*If you are part qualified, you must be over halfway through your exams and actively studying
*Strong grounding in management accounting and month-end processes
*Good Excel skills and confidence working with financial data
*Organised, detail-focused and comfortable working to deadlines
*Clear communicator with a proactive approach to learning
