Job Description:
Our client, a well-established global business based just outside Southampton, is recruiting a Senior Administrator to join their busy and supportive team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with admin experience looking to build a long-term career.
Key Responsibilities:
*Placing, progressing and expediting purchase orders
*Chasing suppliers and managing delivery schedules
*Maintaining and updating supplier and vendor data, including pricing, lead times and product ranges
*Forecasting and planning future stock levels
*Assisting with the sourcing and introduction of new products
*Managing workload independently, reporting to a European-based line manager
The Ideal Candidate:
*Previous office-based experience is essential
*Confident communicator, comfortable liaising with suppliers and internal teams
*Highly organised with strong attention to detail
*Able to prioritise tasks and work to deadlines
*IT literate, with good knowledge of Excel and Word
*Self-motivated with a proactive approach
