UK Head of Finance – North Lincolnshire – £80,000-£85,000, Bonus & Company Car

We are exclusively recruiting a UK Head of Finance for a senior leadership role within a complex, international business environment. This is a high impact position combining strategic finance leadership, hands-on financial control, and close business partnership with senior stakeholders.
The successful candidate will take full ownership of the UK finance function, leading a multi-disciplinary team and ensuring robust financial governance, strong commercial insight, and continuous improvement across the organisation.

The Role
As UK Head of Finance, you will be responsible for all financial and administrative activities within the UK business. You will play a key role in shaping financial strategy, supporting operational performance, and driving informed decision-making.
You will lead and develop a finance team, ensure compliance with internal controls and UK regulatory requirements, and act as a trusted business partner to the leadership team. The role includes both local accountability and close collaboration with an international finance structure.

Key Responsibilities
*Lead, coach, and develop the UK finance team, setting clear objectives and driving high performance
*Act as a strategic finance partner to the wider UK leadership team, driving strategy, maximising performance, providing insight and challenge
*Full responsibility for financial administration, controls, and compliance
*Ownership of budgeting, forecasting, and long-term financial planning
*Preparation and delivery of monthly and annual financial reporting
*Lead the annual year-end close and manage external audit processes
*Control and optimise margins, operating costs, cash flow, receivables, and stock
*Oversee treasury activities and banking relationships
*Drive improvements in financial reporting, asset management, and operational efficiency
*Ensure consistent application of group policies, procedures, and internal controls
*Ad-hoc financial modelling and scenario planning to support strategic and operational decisions

About You – Key requirements:

You will be an experienced finance leader with a strong technical foundation and a commercial, hands-on mindset. You enjoy working close to the business, leading people, and improving how things are done.
*Qualified Accountant (ACCA, CIMA or ACA)
*Degree in Finance, Economics, or a related discipline (desirable)
*At least 5 years’ relevant post-qualified or senior finance experience
*Strong knowledge of UK accounting standards and financial controls
*Experience leading and developing finance teams
*Excellent communication skills and the ability to influence at all levels
*Highly analytical, proactive, and comfortable taking ownership and decisions
*Strong systems capability, including ERP experience essential
