Randstad are currently supporting a high-achieving secondary school in Rainham who are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join their department on a long-term basis for the remainder of the academic year. This is a pivotal role requiring a specialist who can provide stability and high-quality instruction during a crucial period for students. This role is an immediate start.
The school is looking for a teacher who is passionate about Biology, Chemistry, and Physics and is committed to raising attainment across the board.
The Ideal Candidate This role requires a teacher with a commanding presence. You must be able to hit the ground running and establish yourself as a leader in the classroom from day one.
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS): A mandatory requirement. We are looking for someone with a solid understanding of the UK National Curriculum.

* Strong Behaviour Management: You must possess the skills to manage classroom dynamics effectively. We need an educator who sets high expectations, implements firm boundaries, and fosters a culture of mutual respect.

* Subject Expertise: You should be comfortable delivering engaging and safe practical lessons across KS3 and KS4.

Key Responsibilities * Planning and delivering high-quality Science lessons that challenge and inspire students of all abilities.

* Utilising the school’s behaviour policy to maintain a focused and productive learning environment.

* Assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, and preparing pupils for upcoming examinations.

* Collaborating with the Science department and technicians to ensure all practical experiments are conducted safely and effectively.
