Are you an experienced Estates or Project Manager with a background in capital projects and asset management?
Do you want to play a key role in shaping and delivering major estates projects within a forward-thinking college environment, while enjoying outstanding flexibility and long-term job security?
This well-established company in Plymouth is known for its strong investment in facilities and infrastructure, supporting both learners and staff through high-quality environments. With a varied estate and ongoing capital investment, the college is now looking to appoint an experienced Senior Estates Project Manager to lead on strategic and operational projects across the site.
In this role, you will take responsibility for managing capital projects, overseeing estates assets, and working closely with local authorities and external stakeholders. Based primarily in the office, you will coordinate planning, compliance, and delivery of projects from concept through to completion, ensuring value for money and alignment with the college’s long-term estates strategy.
The ideal candidate will have proven experience delivering capital projects within an estates or public sector environment, strong knowledge of asset management, and a recognised qualification in Project Management. A trade background is highly desirable, providing practical understanding alongside strategic oversight.
This is an excellent opportunity to join a stable, well-respected college in a senior estates role, offering a high level of responsibility and a part-time working pattern of 2-3 days per week.

The Role:
* Lead and manage estates capital projects from planning to completion
* Oversee asset management and estates strategy
* Liaise with local authorities, consultants, and contractors
* Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements
* Office-based role with tailored working days available (2-3 days per week)

The Person:
* Proven experience managing estates or capital projects
* Strong knowledge of asset management and capital programmes
* Qualification in Project Management
* Trade background desirable
* Confident working with local authorities and external stakeholders
