Primary Teacher – Burton
Start date: following February half term | Until end of academic year (with potential extension)
Rate of Pay: dependant on hours and experience, will pay to scale to M6
Zest Education is working in partnership with an outstanding primary school located in the heart of Burton. The Role
The school is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic teacher to join their team as soon as possible. You will take responsibility for a full primary class, delivering engaging lessons, maintaining excellent behaviour standards, and contributing to the wider life of the school. This position will run until the end of the academic year, with the possibility of extension for the right candidate.
Your responsibilities will include:
*Delivering pre-planned lessons in line with the national curriculum
*Creating a positive, stimulating classroom environment
*Assessing pupil progress and adapting teaching accordingly
*Working collaboratively with colleagues and support staff
*Building strong relationships with pupils, parents, and the wider school community
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who brings both passion and professionalism to the classroom. The successful applicant will have:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*Previous teaching experience
*Strong classroom management skills
*Excellent communication and organisational abilities
*A creative and adaptable approach to teaching
*Confidence in differentiating learning to meet a range of needs
*A commitment to safeguarding and promoting pupil wellbeing
