Accounts Manager, Oxfordshire
A growing and highly regarded accountancy practice in Oxfordshire is looking for an experienced and confident accounts manager to join their team.
This is a key role within the firm, offering autonomy, variety, and a clear path to further progression. It’s ideal for someone who enjoys both client-facing responsibilities and supporting the development of a high-performing team.
The role:
*Managing a portfolio of SME and owner-managed business clients across a variety of sectors

*Reviewing year-end accounts, tax returns, and VAT submissions prepared by the team

*Providing strategic advice to clients and helping them achieve their financial goals

*Leading client meetings, handling queries, and maintaining excellent relationships

*Supporting, mentoring, and managing junior staff to ensure quality output and continued development

*Contributing to internal process improvements and workflow management

About you:
*ACA/ACCA qualified with significant experience in practice

*Skilled in managing client portfolios and reviewing team output

*Strong communicator with a collaborative and solutions-focused approach

*Comfortable leading client meetings and advising on technical matters

*Proficient with cloud-based software such as Xero, QuickBooks, CCH or similar
