Accounts Senior, Oxfordshire
A well-regarded and growing accountancy practice in Henley-on-Thames is seeking an experienced accounts senior to join their friendly and professional team.

The role:
*Preparing year-end accounts for a portfolio of owner-managed businesses, limited companies, sole traders and partnerships

*Preparing and reviewing corporation tax computations and returns

*Supporting clients with general accounting queries and providing hands-on advice where needed

*Reviewing bookkeeping and VAT returns prepared by junior staff

*Assisting with mentoring and supporting junior team members

*Liaising with clients, HMRC and other external stakeholders

About you:
*Experienced in accounts preparation within a UK accountancy practice

*Comfortable managing a portfolio of SME clients

*Confident communicator, able to build rapport with clients and colleagues

*Ideally ACA/ACCA qualified or qualified by experience

*Strong working knowledge of accounting and tax software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, CCH, IRIS, etc.)

*A team player with a proactive and organised approach
