The Role
As a Semi-Senior or Newly Qualified Accountant, you’ll be an integral part of a dynamic accounts team. You will work closely with a varied client base, providing high-quality accounting, tax and advisory services.
Key responsibilities:
* Preparation of year-end accounts for limited companies, partnerships and sole traders
* Preparation of corporate and personal tax returns
* Assisting clients with bookkeeping and management accounts
* Supporting cloud-based accounting solutions and software implementation
* Liaising directly with clients and HMRC
* Assisting with audits and ad hoc projects
* Supporting junior team members where required
About You
You’ll be either AAT qualified and studying towards ACA/ACCA, or newly qualified, with solid experience gained within a UK accountancy practice. You’ll be confident, proactive, and eager to build strong client relationships.
What we’re looking for:
* Part-qualified or recently qualified ACA/ACCA (or equivalent)
* Minimum 2 years’ experience in practice
* Strong working knowledge of accounting software (e.g. Xero, QuickBooks, Sage)
* Excellent communication and organisational skills
* A genuine team player with a proactive attitude
