Job Description:
I’m currently recruiting for a Travel Experience Administrator to join a well-established client in BS1 on a temporary basis to support travellers exploring Japan.
The hours are 9:00–17:30, Friday–Tuesday (off: Wednesday & Thursday) remote working on the weekends.
Hourly rate is £14.30 per hour.
Key responsibilities:
*Communicate with suppliers in Japanese via fax, telephone, and email

*Coordinate with the Customer Experience Team on customer experience issues

*Recording actions taken in TESS, our customer experience ticketing system

*Troubleshoot with our suppliers during service disruptions – earthquakes, typhoons etc

*Liaise with service providers to ensure seamless service delivery

*Research and identify new suppliers for restaurants and experiences

*Respond to simple customer enquiries when appropriate to ensure a positive client experience

We’re looking for someone who:
*Passion for helping people and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.

*Ability to communicate professionally and smoothly with suppliers, build trust, and work empathetically and effectively

*Overseas living or work experience

*Experience in customer service roles

*Strong interest in travel and tourism (professionally or personally)

*Experience using databases (CRM, reservation systems, etc.)

*Native-level Japanese with business-level English (TOEIC 750+), or native-level English with near-native Japanese proficiency (JLPT N1 or equivalent)
