Production Shift Supervisor
Salary: £32,000
Location: Seaham
We are working with a well-established manufacturing business who are looking to appoint a Production Shift Supervisor to support and lead their production teams on a rotating shift pattern.
This is a hands-on supervisory role, ideal for someone with experience in a manufacturing or production environment who enjoys leading people, driving performance, and maintaining high standards on the shop floor.
Shift Pattern * Week 1:
Monday 06:00 - 14:30
Tuesday to Friday 06:20 - 14:30
* Week 2:
Monday to Friday 14:20 - 22:30
The Role * Supervise and support production operatives to ensure daily targets are met
* Ensure health & safety, quality, and housekeeping standards are maintained at all times
* Monitor performance, productivity, and downtime, taking corrective action where required
* Support training, inductions, and ongoing development of team members
* Communicate effectively with other departments to ensure smooth shift handovers
The Ideal Candidate * Previous experience as a Production Supervisor, Team Leader, or similar
* Background in a manufacturing or production environment
* Strong people management and communication skills
* Able to work a rotating shift pattern
* Proactive, organised, and confident making decisions on shift
