Job Description:
We are working closely with a business on the outskirts of Thirsk who are looking for an experienced Finance Assistant to join their team on a permanent basis.
The primary functions of the role will span across purchase ledger and payroll, with support across other accounting departments.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
*Recording invoices
*Supplier payment runs
*Handing supplier statements
*Resolving any purchase ledger queries
*Processing weekly wages
*Maintaining employee records; including calculations, deductions and benefits
*Supporting audits and year-end processes
*Remain up to date on HMRC and PAYE regulations
Experience:
*AAT or equivalent in experience
*Previous experience in similar role/s
*Great communicator and team player
