Job Description:
PRIMARY SEN Teaching Assistant - SEN School - Lambeth
Start: ASAP
Contract: Long term
Pay: £100 to £120 per day (depending on experience)
A supportive and well-established SEN School in Lambeth is looking for a dedicated Primary SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team as soon as possible. This long-term role is ideal for someone with strong experience supporting pupils with special educational needs.
About the role:
*Supporting primary-aged pupils with a range of SEN, including ASD, MLD, SLD and complex needs
*Working one-to-one and in small groups to deliver tailored learning support
*Assisting teachers with structured activities and personalised learning plans
*Supporting pupils with communication, emotional regulation and daily routines
*Helping track progress and contributing to EHCP targets
Requirements:
*Experience working with SEN pupils is essential
*Understanding of SEN strategies, communication systems or behaviour support
*Positive, patient and proactive approach
*Ability to build strong, supportive relationships with pupils and staff
*Commitment to safeguarding and pupil wellbeing
