Assistant Management Accountant – 12-Month Contract – Starting ASAP

Step onto the shop floor and into the heart of a dynamic manufacturing business! This is a fantastic 12-month contract opportunity for a part-qualified accountant to gain hands-on experience across all areas of Finance, from management accounts to finance business partnering.
What you’ll be doing:
*Preparing monthly management accounts and supporting month-end processes
*Posting cash book transactions, managing company credit cards, petty cash, and staff expenses
*Performing bank reconciliations and assisting with cash flow forecasting
*Analysing variances, overheads, and financial performance
*Supporting costing, stock control, budgeting, and forecasting
*Assisting with VAT compliance, year-end accounts, and audits
*Providing ad-hoc Finance support and contributing to process improvements
Who we’re looking for:
*Part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, or equivalent)
*Strong attention to detail, proactive, and eager to learn
*Confident in Excel and Microsoft Office
*Team-player mindset with good communication skills
*Experience in SAP or manufacturing is desirable, but not essential
