Description
*Process supplier invoices accurately and in a timely manner.
*Reconcile supplier statements to ensure accuracy of records.
*Assist with payment runs and ensure compliance with company policies.
*Handle queries from suppliers and internal stakeholders professionally.
*Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system.
*Support month-end closing activities as required.
*Contribute to process improvement initiatives within accounts payable.
*Collaborate effectively with the wider Accounting & Finance team.
Profile
A successful Accounts Payable Assistant should have:
*Previous experience in an accounts payable or similar role.
*Strong numerical and analytical skills with attention to detail.
*Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
*Knowledge of accounting principles and practices relevant to the role.
*Ability to manage workload effectively and meet deadlines.
*Strong communication skills to liaise with suppliers and colleagues.
