Job Description:
Your new company
You will be joining a respected national organisation that operates across the UK and is driven by strong values, collaboration and a commitment to using donor money effectively. You will be part of a purpose-led environment where high-quality service delivery, strong commercial practice and continuous improvement are central.
Your new role
As the Contract Manager for Travel and Workplace Services, you will play a key role in ensuring that major contracts deliver the goods and services agreed, meet service and quality standards and provide value for money. You will work closely with Directors, senior managers and suppliers to oversee contract performance, build strong working relationships and identify opportunities to improve efficiency, sustainability and commercial outcomes. Your responsibilities will include monitoring contract milestones, preparing reports for senior management, managing contract meetings and ensuring all documentation is accurate and up to date. You will also identify risks early, resolve issues promptly and escalate concerns where necessary. Collaboration with Procurement, Finance, Legal, Information Systems and the Data Protection Officer will be essential to ensure compliance and effective contract delivery. You will also provide contract management advice and training to colleagues across the organisation.
What you’ll need to succeed
You will bring experience managing large, complex contracts across a range of industries, including travel, facilities and workplace services. You will have a strong understanding of contract law, legal terminology and relevant legislation such as GDPR and Modern Slavery requirements. Success in this role will come from your ability to manage supplier performance, resolve disputes, analyse contract information and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders and external partners. You will be highly organised, confident in presenting information, skilled in negotiation and comfortable managing multiple projects with shifting deadlines.
What you’ll get in return
You will be offered a salary between £40,000 - £60,000 alongside a package which includes flexible and hybrid working. You will also join an organisation where your work directly contributes to improving lives and ensuring donor funds are used effectively. You will have the opportunity to shape how key contracts are delivered, influence supplier relationships and support continuous improvement across the organisation. The culture is supportive, values-driven and focused on learning, giving you the chance to grow professionally while making a meaningful impact. You will be part of a team that encourages innovation, celebrates progress and recognises the importance of strong commercial and contract management.
