A highly regarded specialist SEN school in Wokingham is seeking a dedicated SEN Science Teacher to join their supportive and forward-thinking team. This role is ideal for a teacher who brings calm, warmth, enthusiasm, and adaptability to the classroom and is committed to inclusive, therapeutic education.
You will be teaching Science to pupils aged 3-19, many of whom have Autism, ADHD, trauma-related needs, anxiety, and challenging behaviour.

*Salary: Competitive (MPS/UPS, dependent on experience)
*Hours: Monday to Friday, Full-Time
*Start Date: ASAP or September
*Age Range: 3-19
*Setting: SEN / SEMH Specialist School
The SEN Science Teacher Role:
*Deliver engaging and differentiated Science lessons tailored to individual needs
*Create a calm, orderly, and stimulating classroom environment
*Use a variety of teaching strategies and personalised resources
*Support students’ emotional regulation and sense of security
*Work collaboratively with SEN staff, therapists, and support teams
