Materials & Customer Relations Coordinator
Location: Southend-on-Sea | Full-time

The Role
I’m recruiting for a proactive Materials & Customer Relations Coordinator to manage materials planning, procurement, logistics, and customer communication. This role sits at the heart of operations, ensuring materials are available, production runs smoothly, and customers receive clear, timely updates.
Key Responsibilities
*Manage procurement, purchase orders, supplier performance, and delivery schedules
*Act as a main point of contact for customers, providing order updates and resolving issues
*Forecast demand and maintain production schedules in line with capacity and material availability
*Control inventory levels, conduct cycle counts, and maintain accurate records
*Coordinate inbound and outbound logistics, freight bookings, and shipment tracking
*Prepare export documentation and ensure compliance with export regulations (e.g. EAR, ITAR)
About You
*Strong communicator with excellent organisational and problem-solving skills
*Comfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
*Working knowledge of export documentation and compliance (Training Given)
*Confident using ERP/MRP systems and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
