Job Description:
Key Responsibilities
Administration
*Manage incoming emails and post, responding on behalf of the Managing Director when required.
*Assist with office projects, including research and implementation.
*Liaise with clients, suppliers, and internal teams.
*Handle expense management and general administrative support.
Payroll & Finance
*Process payroll
*Maintain payroll records, including employee data, benefits, deductions, and tax information.
*Perform bookkeeping duties such as accounts payable/receivable, bank reconciliations, and general ledger updates.
*Assist in preparing financial statements and supporting statutory filings.
*Stay updated on payroll legislation, tax rules, and accounting standards.
Human Resources
*Manage holiday, sickness, and other leave records.
*Prepare offer letters, review letters, and maintain HR documentation in line with GDPR.
*Support onboarding of new employees, including training coordination.
Qualifications & Skills
*Experience in payroll and bookkeeping.
*Knowledge of payroll regulations, tax laws, and accounting principles.
*Proficiency with payroll/accounting software (e.g., Sage, Xero).
*Strong accuracy, attention to detail, and organisational skills.
*Ability to multitask and work within a small office environment.
*Excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach.
*Team-oriented, adaptable, and discreet with confidential information.
