An established geotechnical consultancy in Aberdeen is seeking a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer to join their growing team. You will work closely with experienced engineers and geologists, gaining hands-on experience across both site and office-based activities, with excellent support and mentoring throughout your development.
As a Graduate Geotechnical Engineer, your role will include:
*Assisting with Phase 1 and Phase 2 ground investigations
*Supporting site supervision and coordinating ground investigation activities
*Logging soil and rock samples and reviewing laboratory and in-situ test data
*Contributing to factual and interpretative geotechnical reports
*Assisting with geohazard assessments and ground risk evaluations
*Providing technical support to project teams and liaising with clients under supervision

Essential Criteria:
*Degree in Geology, Geotechnical Engineering, Engineering Geology, or a related discipline
*Based in, or able to commute to, Aberdeen
*Strong written and verbal communication skills
*Enthusiastic, proactive attitude with a desire to learn
*Full UK driving licence (or working towards one)
