I’m currently working with a well-established and highly regarded planning consultancy that’s looking to appoint a Senior Town Planner to strengthen their growing Leeds team.
This is a great opportunity for an experienced planner who wants to work on a diverse and high-quality workload, with real scope to influence projects, build client relationships, and progress their career within a supportive, professional environment.
The Opportunity You’ll be joining a collaborative planning team working across a wide range of sectors, including residential, commercial, mixed-use and strategic land. The role offers a strong balance of autonomy and support, making it ideal for someone ready to step into a senior position or consolidate their experience at this level.
Key Responsibilities * Managing and delivering planning applications and appeals from inception to determination

* Providing planning advice to clients, landowners and developers

* Leading smaller projects and supporting junior team members

* Engaging with local authorities, stakeholders and consultants

* Contributing to business development and client relationship management

About You * MRTPI qualified (or working towards with significant experience)

* Strong experience within UK town planning (private or public sector)

* Confident managing your own caseload and client relationships

* Commercially aware with excellent written and verbal communication skills

* A proactive, team-focused approach
