Role Overview
We are seeking reliable and professional Catering Staff to support food preparation and service across various school sites. The role requires a strong commitment to food safety, hygiene, and safeguarding, particularly when working in environments involving children or vulnerable adults.
Key Responsibilities
*Assist with the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food
*Serve food and beverages in a safe, friendly, and professional manner
*Maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in all kitchens and service areas
*Follow food safety regulations and company procedures at all times
*Support setup and breakdown of catering areas and equipment
*Work effectively as part of a catering team to ensure smooth service
*Adhere to safeguarding policies and professional conduct standards


Essential Requirements
*Valid Enhanced DBS check
*Registered on the DBS Update Service
*Level 2 Food Hygiene Certificate (Food Safety in Catering)
*Right to work in the UK
*Good understanding of food safety and hygiene practices
*Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends if required
*Reliable, punctual, and professional attitude


Desirable Skills and Experience
*Previous experience in catering, hospitality, or food service
*Experience working in schools
*Strong communication and teamwork skills
