Our client is a medium-sized arts organisation
Description
*Ensure accurate financial records, including preparing and reviewing monthly balance sheet reconciliations and accounting adjustments.
*Develop and enhance accounting policies, processes, and financial control frameworks.
*Prepare statutory reports, including subsidiary accounts, group disclosures, and regulatory returns.
*Provide accounting guidance on new initiatives and create toolkits and training materials for Finance teams.
*Oversee the Treasury function, including cash forecasting, cash flow management, deposits, and payment approvals.
*Uphold strong risk and control standards, deliver high-quality outputs, and support an inclusive and diverse organisational culture
Profile
A successful Interim Financial Accountant should have:
*An ACA/ACCA/CIMA or relevant qualification.
*Accounting/Audit experience including financial control processes.
*Charity SORP exposure
*Analytical review and financial reconciliation experience.
*Ability to work independently and meet deadlines.
*Experience in the arts sector would be advantageous
Job Offer
