Description
*Support the Group Financial Controller in managing financial reporting, cashflow, budgeting, and forecasting.
*Manage the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
*Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring timely and accurate reporting.
*Support the implementation of automation and process improvement initiatives within the finance function.
*Oversee the day-to-day accounting operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
*Provide strategic financial advice to support business objectives.
*Monitor financial performance and implement cost control measures.
*Monitor cash flow, optimise working capital, and assist in treasury management.
*Ensure adherence to financial regulations and reporting standards.
*Collaborate with internal stakeholders to improve financial processes.
*Lead and mentor the finance team to achieve departmental goals.
*Work closely with external auditors and manage audit processes.
Profile
*Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
*Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards (IFRS/UK GAAP) and regulatory compliance.
*Experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cash flow management.
*Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
*Advanced MS Excel skills with the ability to manipulate large data sets.
*Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
*Strong interpersonal and communication skills for effective stakeholder management.
*Proficiency in financial systems and ERP solutions.
