This role is ideal for an experienced teacher or current second-in-department who is passionate about English, curriculum development, and raising standards for all learners.

The successful Head of Maths will:
*Lead and develop a high-performing Maths department across KS3-KS5
*Drive outstanding teaching, learning, and outcomes in Maths
*Design and implement an ambitious, engaging curriculum
*Support, coach, and inspire members of the Maths team
*Monitor progress, use data effectively, and implement strategies for improvement
*Play a key role in whole-school development as a middle leader
Person specification:
*Qualified teacher with QTS and a specialism in Maths
*Proven experience teaching English at KS3 and KS4 (KS5 desirable)
*Evidence of strong classroom practice and excellent behaviour management
*Experience in, or readiness for, a leadership or management role
*Highly organised, reflective, and committed to continuous improvement
*Passionate about making a meaningful difference to students’ outcomes
