Founding Engineer – Full Stack

Avanti Recruitment is partnering with an early-stage, Y Combinator-backed legal technology company. They are building an AI-native platform used by top litigation teams at leading law firms in the UK and US.
They are now hiring a Founding Full Stack Engineer to join a small, elite engineering team and help build a category-defining product from the ground up.
The Role
*Ship production code from day one
*Own features end-to-end, from customer conversations through to deployment
*Build across the full stack:
*Python backend
*React / Next.js with TypeScript frontend
*Cloud infrastructure on Azure
*Work closely with demanding professional users and solve real, high-impact problems
*Play a key role in shaping engineering standards, architecture and culture
What They’re Looking For
*Strong software engineer with 5+ years’ experience
*1st class degree from a top University
*Computer science or strong STEM background
*Excellent communication skills and professional presence
*High agency, self-directed and comfortable with ownership
*Passion for building high-quality products and shipping regularly
