Interim Accountant (Practice/Audit Trained)
*Location: Remote, with occasional travel to London
*Job Type: Full-time, Contract (4 months)
*Day Rate: £450-500/day via umbrella/Ltd company inside IR35
We are seeking an Interim Accountant to support the CFO with Project related work during a transition period. This role offers a unique opportunity to gain experience within a PE-backed business that has recently been acquired. The successful candidate will lead accounting processes and support the transition of business systems.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Support upcoming audit process
*Review and Audit current Balance Sheet, Intercompany and General Ledger Discrepancies
*Investigate transactional accounting processes and provide solutions to discrepancies.
*Transfer pricing
*Data Provision
*Provide support to external and internal stakeholders to resolve queries.
*Support the transition of business systems from Xero to NetSuite,
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Strong audit background gained in practice
*Proven ability to work in a team and interact with multiple stakeholders.
*Experience navigating system and process complexity.
*Experience using NetSuite is advantageous.
*Accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
Desirable Skills:
*Experience of business change, ideally involving a system migration.
*Experience working in a consultancy or professional services organisation.
