Finance Business Partner - North London | 35 hours per week | Permanent
An exciting opportunity has opened for a Finance Business Partner to join a growing and purpose-driven organisation based in North London. This is a key role within an expanding finance team, offering real influence, visibility, and the chance to make a tangible impact.

*Salary: £56,805 per annum + up to 5% performance-related bonus
The Role
As Finance Business Partner, you’ll work closely with senior stakeholders, providing strategic financial insight, supporting decision-making, and helping drive organisational performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys combining technical expertise with meaningful stakeholder engagement.
Duties will include (but not limited to):
*Lead the monthly management accounts process, including setting the annual timetable, preparing journals, accruals, prepayments, intercompany transactions, balance sheet reconciliations, and variance analysis across multiple ledgers
*Prepare and present draft management accounts and performance reports for review by the Assistant Finance Director, ensuring accuracy, insight, and clear links to underlying data
*Act as a key finance business partner to budget holders, resolving queries, processing agreed corrections, leading quarterly finance and debt reviews, and supporting financial improvement plans
*Lead the annual budgeting and forecasting cycle, including developing timetables, templates, guidance, consolidating submissions, uploading budgets/forecasts, and processing approved budget changes
*Provide financial training and support to managers, helping them interpret management accounts, understand performance, and make informed operational decisions
*Support the preparation of statutory accounts and external audits, ensuring compliance with FRS102 and the Charity SORP, maintaining clear audit trails, and responding promptly to audit requests
*Develop and maintain financial KPIs, performance indicators, and cash flow reporting, including forecasts, debt and invoicing metrics, and advising managers on achieving target outcomes
*Deputise for the Assistant Finance Director as required, contributing to board and committee papers, attending meetings, supporting strategic projects, and assisting with delivery of Finance Service Level Agreement obligations
Experience required:
*Fully qualified Accountant or Finalist
*Background working in Social Housing, Property or Not-for-Profit
*Experience producing the monthly Management Accounts

Working hours
*35.00 hours per week (flexible working)
*Monday - Friday
*Hybrid working: 2 days on site per week (there will be the expectation that during probationary period you will be required to be on site more days per week)
