Job Description:
Class 1 (C+E) Driver – Weekend Night Shift
Location: Eastleigh
We are currently looking for an experienced Class 1 (C+E) Driver to join our team on a weekend night shift, based out of Eastleigh depot.
This role is best suited to a reliable and professional driver who lives in close proximity to Eastleigh, due to night-time start and finish times.
Shift Pattern
*Friday: 18:45 – 05:45
*Saturday: 20:30 – 07:30
*Sunday: 19:00 – 06:00
*Monday: 20:00 – 07:00
Pay Rates
*£21.71 per hour (up to 40 hours per week)
*£28.50 per hour overtime (after 40 hours per week)
Requirements
*Valid Class 1 (C+E) licence
*Minimum 1 year Class 1 driving experience
*Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
*No more than 6 penalty points (speeding offences only)
*Subject to DBS check
*Must be able to provide 5 years professional referece
*Good understanding of UK driving regulations
*Reliable, punctual, and safety-focused
Key Responsibilities
*Safe and compliant operation of Class 1 vehicles
*Completing deliveries/collections efficiently
*Carrying out vehicle checks and defect reporting
*Adhering to drivers’ hours and transport legislation
*Maintaining a professional attitude at all times
