Our client, a prominent company in the power utilities and power distribution sector, is currently seeking an SSE Authorised Cable Jointer to join their team. This permanent position is pivotal for projects involving asset replacement and maintenances at 33kV and 11kV voltage levels.
Key Responsibilities: *Performing cable jointing tasks, focusing on asset replacement and maintenance
*Working on 33kV and 11kV voltage levels, adhering to industry standards and safety protocols
*Ensuring all work complies with SSE authorisation and relevant regulations
*Collaborating with team members to ensure seamless project delivery
*Maintaining up-to-date records of work completed and required documentation
*Driving and maintaining the provided van and using the fuel card for work-related travel
*Ensuring safe and proper use of tools and equipment provided
Job Requirements: *Significant experience in cable jointing within the power utilities sector
*Valid SSE authorisation, confirming ability to work on asset replacement projects
*Demonstrated expertise working with 33kV and 11kV voltage levels
*Strong understanding of safety regulations and protocols in power distribution
*Excellent teamwork and communication skills
*Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
*Full and clean driving licence
Benefits: *£26.00-£29.00 per hour (£50,00-£55,000 per annum)
*Bonus and overtime opportunities, offering an OTE of £70,000-£80,000 per annum
*37 hour working week (Contracted hours!!)
