Pastoral Supply Worker - Long-Term Supply Location: Bradford
Pay: Daily rate to scale
Contract Type: Long-Term Supply
About the Role Academics are currently recruiting compassionate and reliable Pastoral Supply Workers to support students in secondary schools across Bradford on long-term supply placements.
This role involves supporting students’ emotional, social, and behavioural needs, helping to create a safe, inclusive, and positive school environment.
Key Responsibilities * Provide pastoral support to students, promoting wellbeing and positive behaviour
* Support students with emotional, social, or behavioural challenges
* Monitor and mentor students, ensuring they are engaged and supported in their learning
* Liaise with teachers, SENCOs, and school staff to implement support plans
* Encourage positive relationships and promote a safe and inclusive school environment
* Assist with lunchtime, break, and transition periods as needed
Requirements * Experience working with children and young people, ideally in a school setting
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills
* Ability to manage challenging behaviour calmly and effectively
* Reliable, adaptable, and proactive
* Commitment to safeguarding and student wellbeing
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to apply)
