Futures is looking to appoint a HR Advisor for a highly regarded manufacturing business. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who can hit the ground running, build credibility quickly with managers, and operate confidently in a fast-paced, operational environment.
Reporting into the HR Manager, you will play a key role in supporting line managers across the full employee lifecycle, with a strong focus on employee relations, performance management, and learning & development support.
Roles and Responsibilities
*Act as a trusted HR partner to line managers, providing pragmatic and commercial advice on people matters
*Support and manage a range of employee relations cases including performance management, absence, disciplinary and grievance matters
*Coach and guide managers to build confidence and capability in managing their teams effectively
*Support the delivery of learning and development initiatives, identifying training needs and helping embed best practice
*Assist with HR projects, policy implementation, and continuous improvement initiatives
*Ensure HR processes are applied consistently and in line with employment legislation and company values
*Maintain accurate HR records and contribute to reporting and data insights
The Ideal Candidate
*Proven experience in a generalist HR Advisor or similar role, ideally within a manufacturing, engineering, or operational environment
*Strong working knowledge of UK employment law and HR best practice
*An excellent communicator who can influence, challenge, and build relationships at all levels
*Confident, resilient, and solutions-focused, with the ability to balance empathy and commercial judgement
*Highly organised, adaptable, and comfortable managing multiple priorities
*Passion for people development and supporting learning and capability growth across the business
