* Location: Plumstead
* Role: GCSE Tutor
* Subjects: GCSE level (core subjects preferred)
* Pay: £25-30 per hour
* Flexible hours available
* Face-to-face tutoring
Key Responsibilities * Deliver engaging and structured GCSE-level tuition tailored to individual student needs
* Plan and prepare lessons aligned with the GCSE curriculum
* Identify learning gaps and adapt teaching strategies accordingly
* Provide encouragement, structure, and academic support to help students build confidence
* Monitor progress and provide feedback to relevant stakeholders
* Maintain a safe, positive, and supportive learning environment
Ideal Candidate * Experience teaching or tutoring GCSE students (qualified teachers or experienced tutors welcome)
* Strong subject knowledge, particularly in core GCSE subjects
* Patient, reliable, and able to build positive relationships with young people
* Confident adapting teaching methods to suit different learning styles
* Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
* Able to commit consistently to agreed sessions
