The Company
Are you an experienced Management Accountant looking for a role where you can shape financial insight, drive cost control, and partner closely with senior leaders?

The Role
As Senior Management Accountant, you’ll take ownership of financial reporting, analysis, and performance monitoring for central support functions (such as HR, IT, Finance) and other overhead areas. You will provide clear, meaningful insight that supports strategic decision-making and operational effectiveness.
Key Responsibilities:*Prepare accurate and timely weekly and monthly management accounts for central and overhead departments.
*Produce variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods, highlighting key drivers, risks and opportunities.
*Develop insightful financial commentary for senior stakeholders.
*Complete and review balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and strong audit trails.
*Investigate and resolve reconciling items promptly.
*Contribute to rolling monthly forecasts and outturn analysis.
*Identify areas for cost efficiency and support savings initiatives.
*Provide financial guidance and challenge to operational and support function leaders.
*Drive improvements in reporting, analysis, and process automation.
*Support system enhancements and continuous improvement across finance.

You’ll bring strong analytical capability, excellent communication skills, and the confidence to challenge stakeholders constructively. This role suits someone who enjoys operating in a fast-paced, multi-site environment.
What they’re looking for:*ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified or Part-qualified (PQ) with strong progression and hands-on experience or
QBE (Qualified by Experience) candidates with proven management accounting capability.
*Experience working within fast-paced or multi-site organisations.
*Strong management accounting and financial analysis experience.
*Ability to work under pressure, meet deadlines, and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders.
