We are excited to offer an opportunity for a dedicated ICT or Computing Teacher to join a reputable Special School in rural West Sussex. This role is ideal for a compassionate individual with a drive to support students with a range of emotional, behavioural, social, or communication difficulties, as well as learning challenges.
Day-to-day of the role:
*Delivering tailored educational programs to students from KS3 to KS4.
*Fostering a nurturing and supportive classroom environment that promotes healthy physical, emotional, and behavioural development.
*Collaborating with senior leaders, subject teachers, school doctor, and therapists to support each child’s growth and development.
*Adapting teaching methods to meet the individual needs of students with BESD in a therapeutic setting.
*Engaging in continuous professional development to enhance teaching practices and contribute to the school community.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
*Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) is essential.
*Experience or a strong desire to support children with BESD in a therapeutic setting.
*Ability to work cooperatively with a multidisciplinary team.
*Strong commitment to fostering a positive learning environment.
*Must be a driver with access to your own vehicle due to the rural location of the school.
