The Company

A growing national services business is seeking a hands-on Management Accountant to take responsibility for day-to-day finance operations while supporting high-quality management reporting as the organisation continues to scale.

The Role
This is a broad and dynamic Management Accountant position, combining management accounts production with operational finance responsibilities. You will work closely with senior management and the wider operational teams, ensuring accurate financial reporting, robust controls, and efficient finance processes.

Key Responsibilities:*Prepare monthly management accounts
*Support budgeting, forecasting and long-term financial planning
*Produce financial reports, KPI dashboards and insightful analysis
*Complete balance sheet reconciliations and maintain accurate records
*Conduct cost analysis, margin review and profitability reporting
*Support the year-end audit and liaise with external auditors
*General ledger maintenance and journal postings
*Daily bank reconciliations and accurate invoicing
*Credit control and issuing customer statements
*Manage the finance inbox and resolve internal/external queries
*Collate payroll inputs for monthly processing
*Complete quarterly VAT submissions
*Perform intercompany reconciliations
*Support ongoing finance system and process improvements
*Collaborate with operational and scheduling teams

About You:*AAT qualified (essential)
*Part-qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA desirable
*Experience in transactional finance and management accounts production
*Strong accounting systems experience (Xero or similar)
*Solid understanding of VAT, reconciliations and journals
*High attention to detail and pride in accuracy
*Strong communication skills and the ability to work with multiple teams
