CNC Head Machinist - Christchurch - £23ph
Early Friday Finish | Modern Citizen machines | 37 hour working week - Monday - Thursday 07:30-16:00 - Friday 07:30-12:30
We’re recruiting for a skilled CNC Head Machinist to join a well-established engineering business based in Christchurch, Dorset. This is a great opportunity to work with modern Citizen machinery in a stable, full-time position with a strong work-life balance and early finishes every Friday.

Key responsibilities In this role, you’ll be responsible for:
* Programming, setting and operating Citizen sliding head machines
* Producing high-precision components to engineering drawings
* Working on Citizen M32 and Citizen K16 machines
* Carrying out quality checks to maintain high standards
* Supporting continuous improvement on the shop floor
What we’re looking for To be successful as a CNC Head Machinist, you’ll ideally have:
* Experience with Citizen sliding head machines
* Programming, setting and operating experience (or strong setting/operator background)
* A good understanding of precision engineering and tolerances
* A proactive and reliable approach to work
